WAMITAB

As the North West Regional Assessment Centre we have been involved in the delivery of WAMITAB NVQs since 1995.
NVQs are ideal for demonstrating competence in a work role and through our team of experienced assessors we can work with you to develop a training approach that is flexible, building upon current skills, knowledge and expertise.

What is Assessment?

We understand that the word “assessment” can seem quite daunting, but our approach has always been one of guidance and support, meaning that you can be more relaxed during the process which will probably involve a combination of observing you carrying out specific work activities, answering work related questions, and examining documentary evidence.

To ensure that the delivery of the qualification fits with your work schedules our assessors and trainers will come to you at your place of work at a time to suit you.

What is the QCF?

This stands for the Qualification and Credit Framework. It is a new way of recognising achievement through the award of credit for units and qualifications completed. It is intended to provide flexible routes to gaining full qualifications, and enables qualifications to be achieved in small steps.
